Auto-responder

 
This is a sample use case for Auto-responder SMS campaign.
 
Scenario:
 

  • A cafe owner would like to gauge the response to SMS advertising.
  • To comply with local regulatory, if a client replies “UNSUB” the client will be considered as opted out and no SMS will be sent to the client in the future.

 
Message:
 
<ADV> Please reply “Yes” within 24 hours to receive coupon for a free cup of coffee at Mum’s Cafe. To opt out reply UNSUB.
 
Auto-responder Message:
 
Show this message to the cashier at Mum’s Cafe to redeem a cup of coffee.
 
This use case can be set up as an automated task. Once the task has started, the message will be sent out to all contacts added to the task.
 
During the validity period, if a recipient sends a reply message, the Auto-responder Message will be sent to the respondent.
 
If any of the recipients replies with UNSUB as the first word of the message, the respondent will be tagged as opted out in the Contacts database.
