What is Gateway Service?
In addition to sending SMS (mobile text) from your own Android phones connected to the service, you can now choose to send them using our Gateway Service. The text messages will be sent through a mobile operator’s gateway.
Why Gateway Service?
If you want to send bulk SMS or one-way SMS broadcast, you should use Gateway Service. It allows you to send large number of SMS at high throughput rate without the limitation of 100 messages per hour on Android phone. You can send SMS directly without the need for an Android phone.
Can I send SMS to overseas numbers?
Yes, you can send from your location to any country in the world.
How much does it costs?
You will need to purchase Message Credits before you can send your messages.
- 2 credits are required to send a message (to any country or network from any location).
- Only 1 credit is required to send a message to Singapore (from any location).
Current packages include:
- 100 credits @ SGD12 (~USD9.60)
- 500 credits @ SGD58 (~USD46.10)
- 2500 credits @ SGD280 (~USD222.60)
What is the payment mode?
All purchases will be transacted through PayPal’s secured web site. You can choose to pay using your PayPal account balance or a credit card.
Do my unused credits have any expiration date?
Yes, credits purchased will expire in 180 days from the date of purchase if not used.
Can I receive SMS from Gateway Service?
No. Gateway Service is meant for one-way broadcast only.
What number will my contact see as the sender of the SMS?
It depends on the mobile service provider of your contact who received the message. In most cases, the sender will appear as “SCM”.
What should I take note of?
Always remember to include the country code in your contacts’ mobile numbers. For example, +65 or 65 for a Singapore mobile number.
